Waitaha Schist paving is a New Zealand schist from the South Island's West Coast. Natural schist paving is a beautiful alternative to concrete paving. It looks great as crazy paving, paths/patios, stepping stones, pond surrounds, or fire hearths.

Split stone - Both sides of the stone are hand split to make it as flat as possible (ideal for paving stones)
Waterworn stone - One side of the stone has been naturally smoothed from water flowing over it (ideal for stepping stones)
