Oenanthe Javanica is a marginal plant, grown for its pretty variegated foliage, which brings colour to the pond as early as March. Its leaves have pink and cream margins, which perfectly complement its small white summer flowers. ‘Flamingo’, sometimes commonly known as variegated water celery, features tricolor foliage (bluish-green leaflets edged in pink and white) It can be used as a ground cover or a pond plant for natural filtration.
