Ludwigia Repens, commonly known as the creeping primrose-willow, is an attractive aquatic trailing plant, grown either partially submerged or fully submerged in water. It is characterised by small shiny leaves which are olive green on top and a purple-ish-red underneath. It can be used as a ground cover or submerged oxygenator and provides good shelter for fish. Ludwigia Repens is one of the easiest plants to care for regarding lighting requirements. It can tolerate low to high light exposures. While it prefers high light levels with very little shade, it can survive in low to moderate light levels.
