Description
Hygrophila Polysperma
Hygrophila polysperma is from South-East Asia and is paticularly good for plant beginners because it grows in almost any conditions. It is primarily a submersed rooted plant, but can be emersed in shallow areas with smaller, darker leaves. It's appearance varies considerably in leaf shape and colour, depending to some extent on the light supplied, but tends to form green-redish elliptical leaves that can be grown as either as a ground cover or oxygenating plant.
